14:00–15:00 | English
15:00–16:00 | Greek

As part of Goethe-Institut Athen Open Day 2026, Archipelago Network invites you to explore the maritime trades of the Cyclades through Crafts of the Sea, a photographic exhibition across several floors of the Institut tracing the practices, knowledge and communities shaped by life at sea. How have maritime trades shaped life in the Cyclades? What knowledge do they carry across generations? And what can they tell us about the islands’ changing relationship with the sea?

Jacob Moe, co-curator of the exhibition and Director of Archipelago Network, will lead two guided tours, introducing the themes and works of the exhibition.

Limited spots available. Please reserve your place by 10 September 2026 via the registration form here.
