Communities Between Islands: Exhibition Extended
October 10 – November 23, 2024
Goethe-Institut Athen
14-16 Omirou, Athens
In response to public demand, the group exhibition Communities Between Islands will remain open for a few more weeks, until November 23. If you haven’t visited yet, you still have the opportunity to discover the complex stories, myths, and landscapes of Corsica, Sardinia, and Syros through the lens of the artists.
The exhibition presents a series of new works that blend documentary elements with fiction, offering a contemporary perspective on these Mediterranean islands. Visitors are invited to immerse themselves in forgotten ruins, secret military sites, uncharted ecosystems, and other hidden aspects of these unique islands through multi-channel videos, sound works, and other media.
