Introducing Wind at the Back
Archipelago Network is excited to participate as a partner in Wind at the Back, an Erasmus+ project supporting young people in discovering meaningful opportunities within the sustainable Blue Economy.
The project focuses on young people and youth workers, especially those facing barriers to employment or education, those with refugee backgrounds, and those living in rural areas, by providing access to online training, hands-on workshops, and a supportive international community.
From marine conservation and fisheries to renewable energy, maritime tourism, shipbuilding, and blue biotechnology, the Blue Economy encompasses a wide range of future-oriented and sustainable professions that remain unfamiliar or inaccessible to many young people today.
Through this collaboration, we look forward to contributing our experience working on maritime heritage, island communities, and local knowledge across the Cyclades.
More information will be announced soon.
